To make your order or to arrange an author visit, email claire@newwritingnorth.com or call 0191 233 3850. Orders for books and marketing material must be made by 18 May 2009. Books will be delivered by mid-June.

All of the Read Regional authors are available between June and October this year and are willing to give readings, talks to reading groups or run workshops. Authors could also be paired for events as follows:

~ Richard Milward and Nik Jones: cutting-edge fiction
~ Valerie Laws and Alice de Smith: women’s fiction

Fees for writers’ visits to libraries to support the campaign are subsidised by New Writing North. The cost to libraries is £100 per author per visit. This would cover the cost of up to two hours of activity. If you would like an author to visit you for the day and undertake more than one event, the fee would be higher. We can help you plan the visit in advance and offer support to market and promote the event if required.
